In general, his "Thick Finish with 2oz copper Min" uses its PCB design software to predict general inspections of PCB design.
In our opinion, the "customer requirements that cannot be changed" are in fact largely related to the customer's PCB design experience. Can change, can't change? Just look at his PCB design adjustments.
If you don't change it, what you can do as a PCB manufacturer is to reduce the copper with 2zo base copper and then plate it according to the normal process. This generally does not affect the plating/etching process.
It is difficult to plate 2oz finish thickness, min directly with 1oz of copper.
1. Your 78.7um is based on 2oz base copper.
2. If it is based on 1oz, then the IPC table cannot be used to indicate that the customer's finished copper thickness "should be" 47.9um.
3. It can be converted to 70um min according to 1oz 35um, and there is no error. This is only from the customer's literal definition of the completion of copper thickness, and does not consider the actual PCB manufacturer's production process. At the same time, if the PCB design ignores this, the distance between the lines will be a potential problem. Because if you follow the 1oz base copper, the distance between the line and the line is not a problem, then when you have to use 2oz in reality, there may be problems. Unless you use 2oz base copper first, then reduce the copper. If you use 1oz base copper directly, it is difficult to achieve 2oz finish thickness or min.
